Janicequois - FRIDAY
Janicequois is a ‘90’s baby and grew up in the Bay Area. She loves pole dance, burlesque arts, meditation, qi-gong and all things intentional movement. She’s excited to throw this “‘90s-’00s Transitions & Nostalgia” party in celebration of all performers, artists and sex workers & to bring attention to fair pay and benefits in these industries.
She has too many favorite ‘90s-’00s artists but her all-time favorite is Aaliyah <3
Evan - FRIDAY
Instagram: @tendrrbendrr
Venmo: @eeevan
Evan is a dancer and instructor at various studios in the city. He always has 90s-00s tracks on while he’s dancing. Most recently songs from Mariah Carey’s debut album and Sean Paul. He is excited to join us for Friday’s 5/22 show!
Baran - FRIDAY
@barankirkgoz
Venmo: @barankirkgoz
Baran is a NYC based pole baby exploring movement, confidence, and a little bit of chaos through pole. This will be his second performance, so he is basically a seasoned professional now. He was not alive in the 90s and was a baby in the 00s, but somehow still loves nostalgia, drama, and anything that feels like a throwback music video.
Violet is an interdisciplinary visual artist and performer living and working in Brooklyn. She has been pole dancing for 2 years. Drawing inspiration from the club and all the pop girlies of her youth, her style is best described as erotic, playful, and feisty. Pole dance has become a transformative practice for her, unlocking new forms of sensual expression and empowering her to unapologetically take up space.

Gina Faridniya - FRIDAY
Instagram: @ginafaridniya
Venmo: @Gina-Faridniya
Gina Faridniya, or "G", began practicing pole about 1.5 years ago — this is one of her first performances. Outside the studio, she leads corporate communications for a real estate investment firm, loves snakes, faux fur and a good conspiracy theory. Her favorite 90s/00s artists include 2Pac, Outkast (circa Aquemini), Clipse and like 75% of the Bad Boy roster.
Alicia is a dancer, instructor and puppeteer. She believes that dance, movement, and art are essential to life, and is always happy to be in a room with people sharing their practices together! You can find her teaching regularly at Full Circle Brooklyn and Luxuriate lab. She was actually alive in the 90s.

Alicia - FRIDAY
Dana B - FRIDAY
@snugglekittens
Venmo: @danabeierle
Dana practices all forms of pole dance with a focus on low flow, heels and floor work. She views pole dancing as a medium that balances strength and sensuality while exposing your most tender physical and emotional parts. Outside of dance she is a designer, artist and comedian who loves an excuse to add 8 inches to her baby deer legs and be mostly undressed in public. She is a newly certified instructor and available for private lessons.
Ivy Raye - FRIDAY
@oopsimajellyfish
Venmo: @rtza0j
Ivy Raye is a childhood ballet dancer turned pole dancer who never misses an opportunity to turn movement into playful experimentation. When she’s not dancing on stage, she’s probably drinking way too much coffee, listening to an audiobook, facilitating connections between people, or collecting a new creative hobby. She’s also proudly a co-producer of @moreoutbk, a student-led community of artists and dancers <3.
Babz denomad - FRIDAY
Instagram: @babz_denomad
Venmo: @Beth-Bickerton
Babz is a circus freak specializing in aerial hammock. Despite a fear of heights, she has found aerial to be a consistent refuge from the chaos of the outside world and a safe space to play with an incredible community. She has previously performed as a double trouble hammock duo at OmFactory and the Slipper Room, but for the first time she's flying solo.
She's excited to join this stunning cast to dance with you on Fri. 5/22 & Sat. 5/23!
Torrie Jo - FRIDAY
@torrieandandromedainspace
Venmo: @torriejo3
Torrie Jo is a registered nurse and social worker specializing in severe mental illness, substance use disorder, and street medicine while engaging with her passion for dance and queer art as a performer and producer on the side! Torrie’s style is usually creepy crawly, contemporary, and seductive like a siren but for this show you’ll see a playful homage to her mother who happened to be a dancer and performer in the 90s.
Qiqi is a pole dancer and instructor who initially turned to the craft as a challenge, but stayed for what it revealed. What began as curiosity has grown into a steady practice of self-trust, presence, and quiet power. She moves with intention, guiding others to find their own rhythm while continuing to deepen her own. There’s a softness to her approach, but never a lack of power—only a steady, undeniable command.
You can find her teaching and creating within her community, always returning to the details: the breath, the tempo, the feeling underneath it all. If she had to choose, her 90’s/00’s influences lean toward Kelis, Destiny's Child, and Aaliyah. Artists who made confidence feel effortless and a little untouchable.
She’s excited to share space with you and let the movement speak for itself.
